Following recent changes in the marine business in Brisbane, Wynnum Marine stands as the sole dealer on Brisbane’s southern bayside authorised to carry out warranty and service work on Evinrude E-Tec outboards.

As a long standing and well credentialed dealer, Wynnum Marine is also an authorised Evinrude E-Tec dealer. And following a rationalisation of dealers in the Brisbane metropolitan area, Wynnum Marine is the only authorised E-Tec dealer in the southern suburbs.

As outboard engine technology has evolved to meet tough environmental emission standards, the need for skilled service support has grown immensely. Outboard engines are not what they used to be – fairly simple two stroke engines not far removed from the family lawn mower.

Whereas a boater once may have undertaken some basic servicing of his outboard, those days are long past. An E-Tec outboard engine represents a significant investment on the part of the boater and so needs routine maintenance to ensure that the engine is performing as designed and efficiently.
